Cigars have been as much a part of Key West’s history as its famous “wreckers”, Papa Hemingway’s exploits, and the shipwrecks that continue to yield sunken treasures. A little more than a century ago, Key West was the premier location of a thriving U. S. cigar industry. It’s been said that Key West’s Cuban cigar makers helped to topple the Spanish Empire.

Though we haven’t toppled any empires lately, The Conch Republic Cigar factory is proud to continue Key West’s long heritage of producing the finest quality, Cuban-made hand-rolled cigars in the world.

As our thousands of satisfied customers can attest, our cigars compare in quality to the finest Cuban, Dominican and Honduran cigars in the world. Even better, ours are priced far more reasonably than our better known over-marketed competitors. Once you try ours, you’ll never waste your money on a “Cuban” or over-priced Dominican again!

All of our cigars are hand-rolled from the finest available Dominican and Honduran tobaccos. Our Standard Premium and Rollers Reserve cigars use hand-selected long-leaf filler, and each variety is blended to our exacting specifications to create a consistent, smooth flavor profile.

Our flavored varieties are also hand-rolled, but use mixed and short fillers to assist in the absorption of the flavoring agent. Our liquor-flavored cigars are triple-dipped in the finest spiced Jamaican Rum, French Cognac, Kentucky Bourbon or Madagascar Vanilla.
